- Sorry I didn't post yesterday, I started to but then the computer died. -

Anyway, it was another average day.
Woke up, ate breakfast, watched TV, went on the computer, went for a walk, came back, did stuff, had lunch, went for another walk.
That walk was fun ^.^

First we saw a parakeet...
No, they're not native :p
As far as I remember, they were introduced (recently) by mistake.
Some people consider them as pests... *sigh*

Then we saw this adorable duck who tried to follow us around.
She came really close to me, about 5cm away :3

Then we saw a moorhen with a small fish...
I'm not sure who's side I'm on; the bird's or the fish's...

Next we saw some ducklings :)
Adorable! I haven't seen any cream ones around here, before.
 Sweet :)

Then there was a swan...
...swans are so majestic ^.^

And then we saw some baby coots. Either there are two families, both with four babies, or just one that goes around the pond really quickly :p
They look kind of cute, kind of...weird.
The parents fed them some kind of black gloop from the bottom of the pond... o.e
Well, that looks...ehh...delicious?

Anyway, we were just starting to look for the Egyptian geese and their goslings, when it started raining.
Ok, scratch raining. Pouring.
We started running home and in leather flipflops, it was hard, trust me. Especially across slippery grass with Dad's camera which I was sheltering under my cardigan.
We ran past a guy who, when he saw us, said he thought he was wet :p

Anyway, we got home and I changed into my PJs.
Did stuff, blablabla.

The same stuff is probably going to happen today X3

  2. Your life is so interesting and waterfowl-filled! :3
I usually only get to see geese and goslings when I go to the park, which is like a 30 min. drive away, sooo.
