We're back at home - our rented home, that is - now :3
We got back super late last night.
Our holiday was fun. At one point a bat flew into the house and couldn't get out, so I picked it up - in a Tshirt, as Dad didn't want me to touch it in case it was carrying something *sigh* - and took a few photos of it, before releasing it. Sky named the bat Zog...

We also saw a few baboons when Dad went to the bank. Apparently, near the bank there's a hotel which chucks out a lot of rubbish for the baboons...
I was kind of nervous taking that photo, because although we were in the car, I had the window completely open and the baboon was just one or two metres away. And, as the people who live in this country say, "baboons can beat you" - beat you up, that is.
Strange to think that these cute little baby baboons grow up like that...

There were some amazing sunrises!

The day before we left it started raining really heavily. I woke up pretty early and everything was flying off the verandah and getting soaked. Mum and Dad woke up too and helped me get everything under cover.
The same thing happened the day we left :p

Oh, and the driving here is awful...at night there are tons of mad drivers zooming back and forth and overtaking all over the place. And the road is full of potholes and randomly placed bumps.
But the thing is, the lorries go so slowly you have to overtake them. And then there are mad drivers coming the other way and there are vehicles without lights and stuff.
*shudders*

We're going back to England on...Wednesday, I think it is. Then we'll be there for 10 days or something, before we go back to France - where we'll spend a fortnight in our house, then we'll go and see our family and stuff, before we come back to Africa in October or November.

We've got our six-hour-long test tomorrow (2 hours French, 2 hours maths and 2 hours English) which will tell whether me and Sky can get into the classes in school we should be in, or whether we have to redo a year or two.
Wish me luck >.<

  3. Haio, Kinyonga! I saw you comment on Animal Jam Spirit, and I have decided to search on your blog. There, I found Animal Jam Times. And, there was a link. I clicked on it, and it led here.

Wow! This is your life - it isn't boring, Kinyonga! It's just nice to know that you're still out there, and stuff. I wish you all luck, break a leg (meaning: "good luck"), Kin!
