It's been raining pretty much all day today, and thundering, too. It stopped about an hour (maybe a little more) ago. The power kept going on and off and the thunder was really loud!

Paddy, our neighbour's cat (one of the ones who likes us - cats who like us, I mean, not neighbours) spent the storm on our sofa, our bed and on the stairs. Samy was under our bed, Toufkin on a chair, Paws just behaved as normal and Humbug was hiding in the wardrobe.

The ceiling in the sitting room was leaking during the worst part of the storm...weird.

We're going to a town near where our aunt lives, tonight, to see some fireworks. (Part of a 14th July - Bastille Day - celebration.) I'm really looking forward to it, I haven't seen fireworks for ages.

I hope I get some good photos ^.^

Oh, and there was a weird...ok, lots and lots of weird, snails out earlier, after the rain.

 Hehe it looks daft :P

And last night we watched a film called "Duma" - it's (very loosely) based on a true story about a family and a cheetah. Thank goodness the ending wasn't as sad as in the book (the cheetah died, there) but still >.<
I really detest sad endings. Especially after what happened to Treacle.
