It was Samy and Paws's birthday yesterday!

Their adopted birthday, at any rate. They both turned three. 

(It's weird, Samy's only nine months older than her offspring o.o)

Samy spent most of the day in a deckchair, and Paws lounged around on the steps outside.

As a treat we gave them both some of what we call "cat fudge". It's a really nice kind of Norwegian cheese with an unpronouncable name.Whenever we go to Scandinavia - four times to date - we buy several packets to bring back with us :3 and as our grandmother goes there fairly often, she brings some back for us too.

 We might go for a walk later, back to the mill falls, but I'm not sure yet. It's very sunny, which is one good thing.
