Sorry for my lack of posting, just nothing much has been happening...

Yesterday I found a dead asp viper on the terrace, which gave me a bit of a shock, because I think it could kill a cat - and it was evidently a cat which had killed it and brought it there.

It's nice to know there are still snakes around - that they're not hibernating and that there actually are some around, despite all the cats. Pity they had to get it, though, rather than me *sigh* not that, of course, I could have kept a venomous snake as a pet (Mum would have had a blue fit, for one thing), but I at least could have taken a photo of it... It doesn't feel quite right taking a photo of a dead snake o.e

Nothing much else, I'm afraid, though when I got up this morning  I found that the cats (mainly Humbug, I assume, since he's the kill-plastic-packet-devour-contents cat) have savaged a whole packet of waffles, three slices of Swedish bread and another half-packet or so (I've not yet checked the corpse) of waffles.

And yet we continue to love them and feed them.
