Happy Advents, everyone ^.^
Well, really it started yesterday, but er...yeah, still *cough*
Me and Sky were outside, earlier, taking pictures of Humbug in the oak tree in our neighbour's land. Well, I was taking pictures, Sky was just hanging around.
But my photo-taking was interupted pretty early on by a cat giving the most heart-rending yowls a few tens of metres away from us. So we went to look for the creature, and found a smallish black cat, rather wet, obviously cold, trembling and yowling, in a small bush.
I didn't know what to do, so we went back home and told Mum, and then all three of us came back again with a box with a blanket in it. The cat came out after a minute of us being there, and I wrapped a towel around it and put it in the box. It was perfectly find with us doing this, thankfully, otherwise I don't know how we would have managed.
(That's Mum's arm.) Then we took the cat to our neighbours. Mr was there, and took the cat. At first he thought it was just cold, and not ill etc but when it started miaowing again, he thought it was definitely ill.
Mum suggested that we could take it to the vet, but he said no, and he'd just take it in and get it warm and stuff. He said that maybe someone was poisoning them.
I hope the cat'll be ok...
But if someone is poisoning them, and I find out who it is, I'm going to do something pretty drastic.
Treacle - Humbug's brother - died of suspected poisoning, while he was being looked after by the neighbours and we were in England.
Aww.. I hope the cat gets better, too. Poor kitty. Poisoning cats.. Sorry to read about Treacle. :(
ReplyDeleteHi Kiny! It's me! Echid. I have quit my aj blog too. But it's cool to see your blog! I'm very sorry about Treacle. I know what it's like to lose a pet. I lost a few. I have hermit crabs right now though. Bye.
