Yesterday was very hectic, even though it was Christmas Eve *sob* because we were tidying for our granddad to come over. We tidied on the 23rd, too, and even painted the stairs...and the wall above the fireplace. That was awful, because our walls are "rendered" and so are full of these cracks and things which are really hard to paint into. Like this, really:

Anyway, now he's here ^.^ there are lots of prezzies under ze Christmas tree which I'm itching to open, but we have to wait until Mum gets up...or even a bit later. I can hear my parents opening their shutters now, though. It's almost eleven. We went to mass last night. It was a bit confusing because the priest was from Cameroon and had a strong accent. Normally it wouldn't matter, but his microphone didn't work very well and kept crackling >.<

We only got to bed around *cringe* one a.m. I was so exhausted.

Now my granddad's making some starter things for lunch and I'd better go and help. I was also supposed to make fudge - for the first time - for my aunt for Christmas but we didn't have time yesterday and they're supposed to set over night. Uh-oh.
