Wow, today has been hectic. Up until about an hour ago, all I'd eaten had been a banana... Now it's been a banana, a piece of pita bread with two slices of salami, and a square of chocolate. Hm. And I'm exhausted. Going to bed past one a.m. and getting up around nine would logically seem like a fair amount of sleep, but doing all this stuff as well - ugh.
Anyway, we're not done. The tenants were supposed to come today but thankfully they were super nice and are coming tomorrow around 5pm instead, which means we can finish getting our stuff out and tidying. Our room is done, the study / guest bedroom is done, bathroom is done, kitchen is almost done, but there's still the loo, the upstairs bathroom, Mum and Dad's room and the playroom / landing / extra bedroom to clear and tidy *sigh* nice sunset though, tonight, and I took a time lapse which I've not done for a while.

And, about the cats. They were both fine, and were neutered successfully ^.^ I don't really like neutering cats (ehhh not that I do it myself o.o) but in this case the association won't take them unless they're neutered. Our cats probably wouldn't have been neutered either, if it hadn't been for our neighbours', er, problem.
Anyway, our neighbour brought the cats back from the vet, yesterday, since he was going into town anyway, then we locked in them in the cat shed until the anesthesia wore off completely. Well, that had been the plan, anyway... Paddy was walking around in a drunken manner (sorry Sky!), his senses not fully alert and his back legs asleep and pawing frantically at the cat flap, which I'd had to duct tape shut. He went quite mad trying to get out, and when I released the female she tried to get out too. I managed to slip out and hoped they'd calm down. But when I came back to check on them, Ploumette was hanging by her front feet from the window-bit (hard to explain...of course the window is cut out of the wood, and the plastic - which is the substitute for glass - isn't so thick that it would cover the width of the wood, which is where she was hanging on) and pawing frantically. So I quickly let them both out and gave them some food - which stopped them from running away in a fright.
Ploumette could walk normally, and Paddy meandered around slowly recuperating.
I haven't seen Ploumette today, but Paddy's fine although is hormones are still working and he's still chasing females, poor thing. He should calm down in a few days, Dad says.
