Yesterday me and Sky went for a walk. The road continues down, to the left, past another house - we had a look down there, but I wasn't sure if we should continue down the track because it looked as if it might have been private property. So we went up the road, to the right. Then we found a track leading off to the left, so we went down there - since it was headed for some nice-looking trees. But when we got to the trees, there was a funny entrance, like the entrance of a castle, with an out-of-place wooden gate in the middle. And there was a sign on a tree saying "NO PUBLIC ACCESS OR RIGHT OF WAY".Beastly worms, what a waste of a lovely forest. Although I admit that if I had a forest, I'd guard it jealously and no one else would be allowed in. The track continued to the left a bit, so we headed up there. But Sky said there was another identical sign. I looked up and caught a glimpse of something red and white, and hurriedly looked away. It was partly covered by ivy, anyway. If I hadn't seen it, I could say that, couldn't I, if we met someone. The track, if I remember correctly, continued - but what we were interested in was the fact that it also branched off into the forest. :P So we went in, Sky being really nervous and peevish and saying she didn't want to. I reminded her that it was usually her who was pro-trespassing (I don't like it if there's a fence) and so what? They weren't going to shoot us. She said that if someone came and shouted at her she'd be scared for the rest of her life. Grumble.
But I managed to persuade her into coming a bit deeper in, and I got a few nice photos. Maybe there'll be a misty morning and we'll be able to go back there :3

Then we went back up the track, right up to a teeny-weeny roundabout and took the left. We wandered along there for a fair while, but it looked as if the sea was ages away, so we came back.

Later, me and Dad went for a walk, to the left, and found that we could go down there. There was a nice oat field which we walked down. There were lots of pretty pink grasses, too. Dad said he didn't want to continue, when we'd got halfway down the field (there was a promising-looking wood at the bottom) because his shoes were getting wet. I have to admit, I did get sopping. When we got back I had to take my shoes and trousers off and dry them both. It had just rained and the grass was wet and knee-high. He also said there was nothing worth it down there. But I pleaded to go just to the edge of the woods, so we carried on. A few metres later, a roe deer erupted from the grass ahead of me and bounded away, down into the woods! It was very elegant. I grinned and shot back at Dad "nothing worth it down there?" XD Anyway, he said it would probably stay around this area, so there's a fair chance of seeing it again...

..Which is where I'm going now, today, once I've finished my tea and discovered whether or not Aili's coming with me. Oh, and I need to charge the camera. Blast. In an hour, then.
