I went to the lake / pond this morning. It was freezing! My hands and ears were so cold...there was the first frost of the year :3

I stayed around the lake for two hours, taking photos as the sun came up, and crossing my fingers for some sunlight rays through the light mist. Unfortunately that didn't happen, but it was still nice with the contrast between the frosty blue shadows and dewy golden light.

I also tried to take some self portraits (I took along a skirt which I changed into, and took my shoes off - dreadfully freezing and painful and they took ages to thaw out), but the sun moved quicker than I expected and soon was on the camera without my noticing, so those where I wasn't blinking or something had way too much flare. I guess I'll try again another time, if I can summon up the courage to re-freeze my feet.

I've just been told we're going out soon so I'd better go. I hate not being told that we're going somewhere until an hour before we do D:
