On Friday we went to the dentist and had our braces tightened, ugh. But, good news! Sky should have hers off before Christmas (although we may need retainers for a week or two) and I should have mine off at the same time, if I wear my elastics non-stop. (I hate them. I hadn't been wearing them. But I will now.)
Other than that, the usual. Walk, heron, squirrels. Dad's going away tomorrow and should be back on Saturday. Kenya in two weeks, hopefully.
It's so interesting to read about what your braces are like! I've had mine since March 2014 and will probably get them off sometime next spring. I wear rubber bands (elastics) at night but used to wear them all day. And here, my brother's had his braces off for nearly two years yet still has to wear his retainer!
