Yesterday my sister and I went to Richmond Park :3 we took some sandwiches and Dad came with us to Clapham Junction, then continued on to his office. We took a train to Barnes and then walked for quite a while until we reached the park.
There were some fallow deer not far from where we saw them on Monday. Stags, does and younger ones like the one in the photo below.

After we'd been with them a while, we walked through the woods and came to the ponds, where there were four swans. We continued walking and came across some red deer! They're much bigger than the fallows and the stags have massive antlers. A few of them were fighting. Interestingly it was generally three stags who wanted to fight, so they kept switching "partners".
It was getting late by now so we headed off towards a gate. We were in about the middle of the park, though, so it took quite a while! We saw two more herds of red deer and a lone stag on the way.

Finally we reached the exit (Petersham Gate) and then walked to Richmond, where we got a snack and caught the train to Clapham. There'd been a possibility of Dad coming home at the same time as us, but instead of him just missing us and arriving home before us, he got delayed and didn't come back for several hours.
My legs were aching all evening! My sister's weren't at all >.< I suppose dropping my tripod on my left leg didn't help. Also I was wearing Mum's shoes as, at the last minute, I couldn't find mine, and she's a size smaller than me.
But barring the aches and pains, it was a really good day. We're apparently going to be stuck in England until the 8th, so hopefully we'll go back ^.^
