So, we started school on the fourth :)
There are lots of new teachers since last year, but I think the only one who's literally new to the school, and who I have, is the biology teacher. I've only had her once, so I can't give an opinion of her. But it was my second lesson (last Monday) and I was all bewildered at being back that I told her my name was spelt "LLEA". Great.
Anyway, Monday - physics-chemistry, biology, French.
We have the same p-c teacher as last year, and he hasn't got any more interesting.
The French teacher is, alas, notoriously the most boring in the school. And guess what? He is. Goodness, is he boring. It's so annoying, I really like French, and want to do well, but you can't when the whole class is in a coma.
Tuesday - Spanish, "enseignement exploration" (learning exploration; to help people decide what they want to be etc) French / philosophy, English, history-geography, accompagnement personelle maths.
Spanish is generally alright (I mean, I'm three years behind, and haven't had too much difficulty), but we watched this dreadful film with people getting stabbed and staggering around in death agonies which was lovely.
The enseign. explo. is with my sister's French teacher and he's really good.
English is boring. I'm in advanced, but it's advanced from an non-native speaker's point of view.
The h-g teacher is really nice (my sister had her last year, btw).
Acc. perso is supposed to be where the teacher helps you with something you have difficulty doing in that subject. For maths we have my sister's biology / maths teacher. I haven't had her yet (she ill this Tuesday).
Wednesday - maths, Spanish, French, physics-chemistry, S.E.S.
We have the same teacher as last year for maths. He's quite nice, but shouts. I don't like maths and I have no idea what they're doing, so...argh.
Spanish, you know, ditto French, ditto p-c.
S.E.S is economic and social science, and the teacher is nice and it's an ok subject.
Thursday - English, history-geography, French, accompagnement personelle (S.E.S or French), maths.
One week it's S.E.S, the next it's French. This week it was S.E.S, but he didn't help specific people...just set the whole class more exercises. For French we're going to have last year's French teacher, so I can't wait :3
Friday - English, Spanish, P.E., maths.
We had swimming. I love swimming. But oh-my-gosh was the teacher horrible. It's two hours of swimming lengths in a 25 metre pool. It was really cold (pool gets sun for maybe 30 mins per day). About half the class got exhausted and got out. A girl got a cramp in her leg, I got one in my foot. I also smashed my foot against the ladder which was really painful. And me and a few others got blocked and hurting ears. The teacher wasn't even in the pool and she was wearing sunglasses the whole time so you couldn't see her darned eyes (which I hate). It was dreadful >.<
that's a horrible schedule! NOt once do I see where you are having lunch or recess!
ReplyDeleteThis seems like an interesting load of classes :P
