So! Back to school :)

Monday was alright (too much maths during phys-chem, though), and Tuesday was good. Spanish was fun (we had an argument about what the small blurry animal was on a poster we were describing - evidently a cow, as was finally proved today), English was neutral (oh, and we listened to a depressing song which was, er, depressing) and we had two hours of history-geography, which I think might be my favourite subject... History is generally interesting, as is geography - and besides, I'm going to probably start of by studying geography. And also the teacher's very nice.

I also like science de la vie et de la terre (life and earth), but I'd like it a lot more if there was less human stuff (like muscles and sympathetic nerves). I also really like French, when we're not analysing texts... I've never learnt how to do it, I don't understand it, and it really annoys me when people keep saying 'well, the author chose to put this word here because it conveys this'.

The author didn't. When you're writing you just write. Mais bon.

We were supposed to have art or music (art one week, music the next, and I don't know which we're starting with), but the other Seconde hadn't finished their project so they were doing an extra lesson. So we had French again! I - and, thankfully, several others - haven't finished my conte philo, but the teacher took our draft papers so he could see how far we'd got.

Argh.

My draft was covered with scribbles and doodles and my cats' names and things like that. And he's going to have no idea what it's all about! *sigh*

Today we had maths first and, alas, the bus was on time, and I didn't miss any of it. It was alright, though, but not particularly interesting. (We were working in teams, I didn't understand, they did most of it.) Spanish was alright, French was very interesting, we had our class photo taken for the yearbook after lunch, physics was a bit confusing at first but I suddenly understood it, and we didn't have SES because the teacher was absent so I could go home early which was good because it's my birthday today :3

17. Funny how you can get a year older over night. It doesn't feel any different!
