Yesterday was brilliant :3 my class went on a canoeing trip! Three adults accompanied us; the SVT teacher, a P.E. teacher (not our class's P.E. teacher, but he's a classmate's father so...) and a surveillante.
It was 8km from start to finish and we all - despite lathering ourselves in sun cream - got dreadfully sunburnt. The SVT teacher said one of my classmates looked like an "ecrevisse". We were supposed to bring shoes which stayed on in the water (in case of glass, sharp stones, etc etc) and I did but started off wearing flip flops. Then when we first stopped I just left them in the canoe and went barefoot. My classmates were astonished and kept saying "mais t'a pas mal aux pieds?!" *sigh* they're so urban. When I went to the jardin de la fontaine with some of the girls they kept panting and exclaiming how hot it was...it was just a few steps!!
Unfortunately I don't have any photos as I didn't bring my camera (and my point-and-shoot has died for some reason >.<) but hopefully I'll go again with my sister and parents and by then I'll have a waterproof case for it. It was really great :)
