On Thursday we took the four cats to the vet for their yearly booster vaccination. Humbug scrabbled around and tried to push through the bars of his basket. Toufkin behaved well and just gave a few loud, distressed miaows at one point. Samy was very good but dribbled a lot. Paws miaowed, dribbled and did a poo in her basket... She is not a good car cat, poor thing. Anyway, their vaccines went fine, although it seems that the three of them (not Humbug, that is) have got a sore patch at the back of their mouths which is a contagious virus which we have to give them drops for.

On Friday Dad took my sister, Mum and into the town an hour away, where he dropped off Mum for an appointment. He was then supposed to take us to the dentist about 45 minutes away from that town, but there had been a complication while Mum registered for the appointment so we'd missed it - and the blasted dental practice shut that afternoon for a month.

On Saturday we went to see our aunt and cousin. We had an icecream and there was an amazing lightning storm which I wasn't able to photograph as I was tripodless and there was not a good vantage point :( but the rain was lovely. It hasn't rained in simply ages.

I'll leave you with a photo of Tamitha. She's quite small, actually. Like the Wittens, she is Mouse's baby, but from an older litter. Mouse has such adorable babies (and she's expecting more). I can't wait until Tamitha has her own. That ginger cat in the photo is Father Christmas (the beard, y'know).
