We're going back today. It was a bit annoying, not even to be told, but just to have it casually mentioned, on the way to the shops to buy some milk, that we were leaving tomorrow. I knew the plan was to go on Wednesday or Thursday, but - ! You'd think your parents would at least tell you they'd booked the flights or something. *sigh* I'm disappointed to be going back to Nairobi; it's really nice here, and we've only just acclimatised to the humidity and aren't feeling hot and sticky anymore. Plus I can't take any of my flapneckeds back with me as they obviously wouldn't be able to survive the cold in the capital. I've already released one of them, and I'll release the other two just before we leave.

Still, I'm looking forward to seeing whether Nyapuss has had her kittens yet!
