We had a lovely Christmas - three Christmases, actually. The first one, on Christmas Day, just with the four of us and my grandmother. On Boxing Day we went to my great uncle's wife's brother's (technically he would also be my uncle, then?) house for dinner. And on the 29th we arrived back home in France and my granddad, uncle, aunt and cousin came over for another party! I'm glad we got to see everybody.
My aunt gave me a lovely pair of earrings (I don't have my ears pierced, so they're...not exactly clip-on earrings, but something similar) - my first pair actually! And my sister's hair caught fire which was quite scary.

We reached home at around 4am yesterday morning, having been in the car for about 26 hours. We had hoped to catch the ferry at 2.15am on the 28th morning, but unfortunately the car had a battery issue, which we thought had been repaired that morning, and we had to jump-start the car twice before leaving. Then it stopped again in a petrol station, and had to be jump-started at the port and on the ferry. After that it miraculously kept going until we got home. It was freezing in the car, though, because although the heating was on for some reason it wasn't reaching my sister and I in the back, presumably because of all the stuff blocking the way. Also it was very uncomfortable and cramped. All this was made worse by the fact that both me and my sister have got a cold. It seems that everyone in England has a cold right now. Mum thinks we got it from being too cold in Richmond Park but you don't a cold from being cold, you catch it from someone else.
