*murders ancient stupid rubbish computer which is very, very slow*
Anyway! After staying 4 days and 3 nights (or so) at our aunt's house in France (while she was staying with her partner...who she's going to marry...soon...hopefully...) we finally left.
First we finished off at our house (where Mum and Dad cleaned the garage from 10pm to 5am and I am not exaggerating) and then said bye to the cats (I cried).
Then we went to a hotel where we slept from 6am to 1pm.
Then we had lunch at MacDonald's. There were loads of adorable little sparrows hopping around.
Oh, and there was this woman who had a chocolate muffin with small pieces of nut on it on her table. She was writing and wasn't paying any attention to it and this sparrow came over and started pecking all the nuts of X3
Then we drove off. Well, Dad and Mum drove, not me, sadly. If I had been driving I would have stopped about a zillion times to take photos. I can't wait until I can drive :3
We drove for ages and ages and then we got to Paris at 11pm, where we met one of Dad's colleagues for about 30 seconds so he could give Dad a memory disk or something for his work.
No, we didn't go up the Eiffel Tower. No, we've never been up it. And most Parisians haven't, either, strangely.
Carried on driving and got to Calais at 4 or 5am this morning. Got on a boat after a half hour wait and had a "traditional English breakfast". I violated my pescetarianism and ate some bacon... *cough*
But I'm going to have to give my pescetarianism up, anyway, when we got to this-other-country as they don't really understand pescetarians/vegetarians.
The sea went all blue and misty and epic towards sunrise, but it was cloudy so we didn't see the sun until we got to Dover.

Then we drove for four hours (should have been two but it was the rush hour) until we got to our grandmother's place in London, which is where we are now.
We're going to stay here for 1-2 weeks and then go to this-other-country.
I'll try and post regularly, but the computer is really ancient and sometimes doesn't work.
The sparrow IS adorable. <3
ReplyDeleteIf I lived in Paris, I'd probably nag my parents to take my brother and I to the Eiffel Tower. To Parisians, it probably seems like some ordinary landmark/museum.
I hope you enjoy your time in London! :)
ReplyDeleteAww, the sparrow is cute. :3
Cool!
ReplyDeleteThe sparrow is so cute, and the photo of it is just great.
