Here's a photo of Pyjamas, the chameleon I mentioned in my last post. So-named because her moulting looked like white PJs :P
Pyjamas escaped yesterday, though, because the box got slightly torn and I assume she managed to climb up the torn part, and then out. But I found a new chameleon, a high-casqued (yay!) last night as we came back from a restaurant. I spotted her, asleep, on the hedge leading up to our house, in the light of the car. She - I'm pretty sure it's a she - is very hissy, though o.o

I also started a post and I was sure I'd saved it...but it's gone now *sigh* so I'll restart that.
Acouple of days ago Dad had a meeting at the guest house we sometimes stay in, and I went with him because I felt ill. The alternative was traipsing around a shopping centre with Mum and Sky. While I was there I found two chameleons. Both Jackson's, a male and a female; Ra (aka the Senile Sun god) and Hestia. This is Hestia:
I wanted to bring both back, but Dad said I couldn't deplete their stock of chameleons XD I got to bring Ra on the plea that he was too old to reproduce. I don't know if chameleons can be too old to reproduce. But anyway, he was old. Also one corner of his mouth was a bit funny; swollen and...funny.
So I brought him back, but the next morning I put him on the bush while I did some washing up, and he vanished >.< note to self: never do washing up leaving a chameleon on the bush.

Also, since I got Hissy - her temporary name until I'm sure she's a girl - and lost (would you believe I tried to spell "lost" like "lossed"? o.o) Pyjamas, I released Jupiter so there's a box free for Hissy, since the two species aren't supposed to share an enclosure. Oh, and Nyx has escaped *sob* I was wondering how the heck she managed, and then just now caught Hissy in a bid for freedom and figured it out. There's a kind of extra piece of cardboard which they climb up and oh dear this doesn't make any sense at all and you have to see it IRL.
So now I'm down to two chameleons; Hissy and Apollo. Oh well.
*Shoves Hissy back onto top of head from shoulder. STOP HISSING I'M NOT DOING ANYTHING BAD TO YOU*
