It actually snowed last night! It's all starting to melt now, but it was lovely while it lasted. I tried to take Humbug out for a short photoshoot but he was having none of it. At first he didn't want to get down from my arms, and then he gingerly stepped through the patch of snow until he reached a "safe", snowless area under a bush, and just sat there looking peevish and mournful, with his fur all fluffed out, until I gave in and took him back inside.

Still now news in re my school, but we're supposed to hear something today. Mum and Dad are going to England on Monday (our granddad will come and stay with us while they're away), so I really hope I can start tomorrow otherwise I'll be without any moral support on my first day...
