Remember the bird I posted about in me last post? I looked up a huge list of the birds which are around here and discovered it was a wren. If you're clever enough to have noticed that I was writing about it in the past tense, that's because it's escaped :P yep, just like the mouse. Well, at least I managed to get four photos of it, even though they're not great ones - with the mouse, I didn't get any.

When we went into town to get the maggots (and worms) to feed it, we let it fly around the house with our uncle to keep a bit of an eye on it.

I knew we should have closed the window...because, although it has a mosquito net, there was a bit of a hole in it which a bird could just have about squeezed through.

 So, when we came back, it had vamoosed. We released the worms but didn't want to infest the place around here with maggots and future-flies so we're keeping them in case they come in useful.

I have to go and help clear out the place, now. I should post again with in the next week, though there may not be any photos.
