Rain, rain, rain and more rain! Mum had to go and pick Dad up from the airport last night and it was very worrying since there were a lot of red alerts saying there was going to be flooding. Apparently towns were opening up gymnasiums and such for people to spend the night in.

There was a lot of sheet lightning, too, which was very boring for me, since the actual bolts were hidden by the clouds.

But both Mum and Dad got back safely, and it's miraculously cleared up today so there are hardly any clouds and it's really sunny. Of course *looks pessimistic* the weather may turn on us again but you never know. I hope I don't jinx our luck by saying that :P

Paddy, one of the neighbour's cats, keeps coming inside and sleeping a) on a chair or b) on the sofa or c) under the stairs or d) under our bed.

It's getting slightly annoying, especially as Mum keeps saying we have to let him stay there

He's not our cat!! Either we adopt him or we don't. I don't want a half-way system. It's just plain annoying.
