We - me, Sky and Dad - were planning to go on a walk this afternoon and look for wildboar and other various fauna. But then someone decided that Mum was coming so we got really late and the sun had already set (not that it made much difference, the sky was completely clouded over) by the time we actually left. Needless to say, we didn't find any boar. Just a couple of hoof tracks. Oh, and two hunter's dogs which were roaming aimlessly around the place and barking their heads off. I think they were the same ones who, this morning, scared my cats out of their wits as I was feeding them, barking away next door in our neighbour's car-parking space. I yelled "va-t'en" and then the neighbour popped out and started yelling something a bit rude (ok, rather) and then they scrammed.
I got a pretty bad photo of the dogs when we were on the walk. Bad because it was so dark, I had to use a highish ISO, use the flash (which makes them look like zombies) and there wasn't enough light to do more than guess at the right focus. Not to mention the fact that they wouldn't stay still.
Heh :P Anyway, we wandered down the track, crossed the stream, wandered a bit next to one of the vineyards and then headed back home, without seeing anything more interesting than a bird...which we didn't actually see, just heard, flying off.
Oh, I did spot a toad ^.^ and a very cute one, too.
Ahh, green eyes :3 but you don't want to hear me singing praises about a toad, do you? - even if it is super cute

However, as I have nothing else to post, I'll go :P
