Eeek, sorry I haven't posted recently! Been a bit busy, and also I haven't taken any photos worth speaking of (bad weather so no walks, dust on the sensor so no landscapes / slow shutter speeds during the day time and no macros), so I didn't bother uploading any of my photos. I still haven't uploaded all of them, actually XD

Anyway, last Friday we went to see a friend of ours...remember? The one who owns a lot of horses? I'll call her N. So, we went to see N, and groomed three of her horses and mucked out one paddock. It's nice doing stuff with the horses, it makes me feel a lot easier around them. You know how you always hear "don't walk behind it, you'll get kicked" "careful of their feet, they could break yours" "careful how you feed it, it'll bite" and blablabla...well, it's all very well hearing that if you hear the nice stuff about the animals, too, but just that? Mmm...
Then on Saturday we went with N to a nearby brocante, which is a kind of antique market thing. I was vaguely hoping to see some old camera lenses (maybe, maybe?) but there was only one which was a) rubbish and b) wasn't a Nikon. Sky bought some "antique, hand-knitted" socks for 10 euros... Well, it's her money <.<
Then, a few days later, we had a bonfire, which was fun.

And then yesterday, it was Mum's birthday. Our aunt and cousin came over, and we had a coffee and walnut cake that me and Sky had made the day before.
I drew Mum a picture of a parrot...well, you could see it was a parrot because of the colours, and a bird because of the wings. But I doubt anyone zoologically sound would have called it a parrot.
I mean, think about it! If you saw a wingless parrot wandering around your garden, you'd go "oh, no, the poor thing! a wingless parrot!"...but if you saw the thing that I drew, wandering around with no wings, you'd probably think it was a murderous alien.
We're also going to get her a couple of canvas (or maybe printed, not sure) photos, mostly to take to Africa to decorate our (rented) home over there. Although goodness knows why she'd want to print any of my photos *sigh*

Well, got to go now :3
