Sorry for not posting, I've just been too lazy to. I get up Blogger, click new post and then think "mmm I'll do it later" and then don't *cough*
Anyway, we're still at the sea, but going back on Monday, early. Then school again, like I said, on Wednesday. On the 29th we went on a game drive since it was Dad's birthday. We had wanted to leave early-ish (say, around 8am) but ended up leaving at 2... *sigh* Typical us getting delayed. Naming no names, but most of the fault belongs to the parent who's "title" begins with M. We got there, eventually, and drove around. It was really nice! We saw warthogs, hartebeest, impala, a bushbuck, a giraffe and some elephants! Unfortunately the elephants were further away then it could have been wished (for photographing 'em) but it was still nice to see them.
We had Dad's birthday cake at a viewpoint from which we could see a huge forest and the sea on the horizon. The cake was raspberry and almond, just for the record :P

Oh, and on the way back, we got stuck in some sand and had to push the car (me, Sky, Mum while Dad steered) out! It was really hard and we had to try and dig away some of the sand - and there was this beastly hornbill laughing at us the whole time. And then guess what. Suddenly Dad noticed he'd left the flipping hand brake on!! The car was an automatic (we'd hired it) and the brake was in a funny position so he hadn't noticed. Sigh.
