Today we had a house warming party! It is, I think, a bit stupid having a house warming party a week before you're leaving, but anyway. First of all we had a big job tidying and cleaning, but thankfully a cleaner came and helped and washed up and stuff. (Most people here have a maid, and we have this woman comes every so often.) Quite a fair few people came. Some friends of Dad's brought a friend of their's, who's a half-English, half-French photographer and filmmaker. He reminds me a lot of my grandad (Mum's dad). We got three photos of mine put on a laminated board (that's what the shop called it, at least) - a sunbird, a heron and a chameleon - and Mum's hung them around the house... The man said he thought I'd make a good photographer, and he said he really liked my photos :3

The carpenter brought the puppies' kennel today, and they're spending their first night in it. They have a two metre run attached to it (it was supposed to be three metres, he made a mistake, but he's going to adjust it asap - as well as adding a door to the run, which he also forgot), but they've got used to freedom, even after only a few days, and aren't particularly keen on it. The run, that is, the actual kennel is good for them, for sleeping. I think we'll be letting them out a lot. And poor Sandy hates the kennel, she really doesn't like being enclosed *sigh* oh well, it'll be easier when it has a door.

We also moved Toffee's puppies onto the verandah, just now. I'll take some photos of them tomorrow.

Just tomorrow, then we're back to school. Yay!
