Yesterday me and Sky wandered around in the woods which border the common, and I took some photos of the scenery and of her. After that we went for a walk in the common and saw the ducks and things. I've been trying to take a few films of the water fowl to make a "life in X common" thing... It's hard. Windows Movie Maker is not a great program and I'm not a great filmer *sigh*

 

Aaaand today, first of all me and Sky babysat - well, played around with, really - a colleague of Dad's boy, who's three or something. He's very cute :3

Then, after lunch, me and Sky went to Vauxhall to get my camera sensor cleaned. It was quite fun and I'm rather proud of myself for managing to get all the way there and back :P we had to change trains and then walk for ages - once in the wrong direction, getting lost until we asked a helpful shopkeeper - until we got there. Ahhh I love the shop. It's full of cameras and lenses and tripods and I just felt that it was me. *sigh* 

Anyway, I gave my camera in and we went to get a snack and a drink. A little over half an hour later we went back to get it, only for them to say that they'd tried to call (but it was Mum's number they had) and that I had a scratch on the sensor and did I want them to clean it anyway -.- well, there goes half an hour of my life. Yes. So I biffed off again and came back half an hour later and collected my clean camera ^.^ I'm not changing the lens until I've got a decent one of the Devon beach with a slow shutter speed.

I'd better pack, now, we're leaving tomorrow. Can't wait!
