I've been keeping a brown mantis for a few days, and discovered this morning that she'd laid some eggs on the lid of the container I was keeping her in! I released her and put the lid outside under a log (obviously not squashing it), under some trees. It would have been interesting to keep them indoors and watch them hatch but I think we'll have left by the time they do. *Looks it up.* Oh, wait, maybe not :P I'll get them in again tomorrow and maybe they'll hatch before we leave, if I'm lucky.
