Today I photographed a mantis, a cricket and some daisies. The daisies failed (the stupid fence got in the background for the first lot)...the ones in my hand I just can't get right. I don't know what I want them to look like, exactly, but they're just...bleh. Maybe I need more pink-tipped ones. *sigh*

Yesterday I went for a bike ride by myself and explored a new track and tried to photograph some dragonflies. The light was horrible, the dragos were uncooperative, I got my feet full of thorns and the only nice photo had bad composition. I'll try again another time :P

Also Sky, Mum and I went for a short bike ride today through the village to the stream and I released and photographed a swallowtail butterfly caterpillar I found there yesterday. (I took it home because it was too late to photograph it there and then, and I didn't want it to vanish before I could come back.)

The photos of it aren't that good (composition!!!) - so I'll go back tomorrow and maybe, maybe it'll still be there...

On another note, it's no longer forecasting fog. D: But there is going to be some rain next week!!! That'll hopefully set the millfalls going again, and I'll be able to attempt a photo I've thought of. Several, actually. Millfall 2 at sunset, night, Sky in the picture...etc.
