I didn't end up going to the stream yesterday, I was too cold >.< I'm cold all the time now, I don't know why. I looked up "why am I cold" and I expect I'm just tired, which seems more likely than anorexia or hypothyroidism!

It's raining today! It was raining early in the morning and it's still raining now at nearly 11am. Let's just hope it continues, I have so many photos I want to take of the streams and rivers. I also want to take a shot of one - or more - of my mantises in the rain but I was imagining a drizzle for the purpose, not something this heavy! *checks forecast* Hmm, they're predicting thunder and more rain later in the day and then some rain later next week. I hope the power doesn't go off, though, Doctor Who's on later.

 

Humbug and Toufkin are sleeping together on the sofa <3 when I went to feed them earlier they just sat on the doorstep, goggling at the rain and they were evidently demanding why they had to cross the garden to be fed. However, when I rushed out, they followed. There were five of the neighbours' cats in the shed, sheltering, and the poor idiots scrambled out in a panic.

I feel torn between letting them stay (not that they would, with me there, but you know) and reserving our shed for our cats. I think I mentioned that we've installed a new catflap which only lets cats with a registered microchip through (Toufkin's having some trouble, though, his chip must be further back or something) - maybe we could get another catflap for the shed, though they are pretty expensive. Surely those poor cats can go to their home?
