So! We're in Kenya, but apparently without the money to start school. Having the money to start school was, unfortunately, the condition on which I agreed to come to Kenya. I love Kenya, but I really need to keep up with my schooling now. I have an important exam at the end of this year and I can't afford to mess up. My parents are going to go to the school on Tuesday, hopefully, and meet with the Head and ask if they can pay for the previous un-paid term and the coming term in several different goes. If the school agrees, then I should be able to start on Wednesday or Thursday.
While in England my sister and I visited Richmond Park. It was great to see all the deer, and the rutting season has just started so it was amazing to hear the stags bellowing from all around. It was a bit annoying to have to leave England at one of the best times of the year for photographing deer!
Still, now we're in Kenya, I'll be able to find some more chameleons. I've actually caught - or rather, picked; they were asleep - two but I had to release both of them nearly immediately as I had nowhere to put them, and we've been out nearly all day since we arrived, looking at houses. We're off to visit some more this afternoon, and hopefully we'll have made a decision about where we're staying by this evening.
