My sister has been doing a work-experience this week, at an upholstery workshop in town. Yesterday evening when my granddad and I went to pick her up, I saw two friendly muskrats in the river. I haven't seen them that close before! They're cute.

It's been raining all week. Mum is coming back this afternoon and, alas, our granddad is leaving. Tomorrow I'll be going to my future school to meet the Head, so we'll see how that goes. I wish I had been able to start this week! And the holidays are two weeks - it's such a long time to wait.
